Hi! Hola! Nice to meet ya!
My name is Ana Lucia, and this travel blog is my second baby. My first baby is pictured above, Ale. My best friend/husband/travel bud for life is there too: Nick. I started this blog to document my family’s journey to find our roots, seek community, allow rest, stay engaged with our passions and hobbies, all while raising our toddler here, there, everywhere. We travel a lot, yes, but we crave stability and nesting as well (nido means nest in Spanish). Here, I will explore what roots mean to us and how we will nurture those in our travels. I will give you the best tips and tricks to travel with a toddler (we have been doing it since he was 15 months and it’s truly fun – trust me!). I will give you the best hidden gems in places like Sacred Valley and Lima in Peru, Costa Brava and Costa Blanca in Spain, and various US towns like Monterey, California and Huntington, West Virginia! I will share what I learn as I dive into the world of full or mostly-full-time travel: the good, the bad, and the things we find nurture our cozy spirits. I am so excited to start this adventure and can’t wait for you to follow along.
